Atomic Rooster is the sixth studio album by British rock band Atomic Rooster. It was recorded when the band regrouped after breaking up for five years, and they embarked on a raw style, which was in marked contrast to that of their past few albums. In addition, its heavier sound fitted in better with the new wave of British heavy metal scene. Two tracks, "She's My Woman" and "Where's the Show?", were originally recorded by John Du Cann for his solo album, The World's Not Big Enough, in 1977.

Atomic Rooster are a British rock band, originally formed by members of the Crazy World of Arthur Brown, organist Vincent Crane and drummer Carl Palmer. Throughout their history, keyboardist Vincent Crane was the only constant member and wrote the majority of their material. Their history is defined by two periods: the early-mid-1970s and the early 1980s
The final Atomic Rooster album, from 1980, caught the group riding the crest of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, and loving every minute of it. Reconstituted around founders Vincent Crane and John Du Cann, plus drummer Preston Heyman, the group signed with EMI and set about cutting an album that - if it wasn't exactly a match for the peerless pair that launched Atomic Rooster's career a decade previously, was at least the best thing they'd done since then. Do You Know Who's Looking for You?" (the first single from the album), "Lost in Space," and "In the Shadows" all rate highly on any Rooster poll you care to take, and if the group is occasionally guilty of submerging its charms beneath a flashy swagger, then one must remember the mood of the moment.
Atomic Rooster was a British early 1970s touring hard rock/progressive rock band which continued on and off for a decade. The band was founded by the late British blues pianist Vincent Crane (21 May 1943 – 14 February 1989), originally with British drummer Carl Palmer, after Crane left The Crazy World of Arthur Brown which he had co-founded in 1966.
It is commonly thought of as the archetypal Atomic Rooster album, recorded by the 'classic' line-up of Vincent Crane, John Du Cann and Paul Hammond. It is, critically and commercially, their most successful album and often hailed as a classic of the progressive rock genre. It also produced the hit single "Tomorrow Night" (UK which became one of the band's best-known songs. The album's cover features the William Blake monotype Nebuchadnezzar
