Patricia Mae Giraldo (née Andrzejewski; born January 10, 1953), who goes by the stage name Pat Benatar, is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and four-time Grammy Award winner. She has two RIAA-certified multi-platinum albums, five platinum albums, three gold albums, and 15 Billboard Top 40 singles, including the Top 10 hits "Hit Me with Your Best Shot", "Love Is a Battlefield", "We Belong", and "Invincible".

Ultimate Collection is a compilation album by rock singer Pat Benatar, released in 2008. The two-disc and digital collection features 40 classic and signature songs, including 20 top 40 chart hits. Precious Time is the third studio album by American rock singer Pat Benatar, released on July 6, 1981. It peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, chart and produced the top 20 hit and lead single "Fire and Ice"; the song that would later win the Grammy Award for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance in 1982 and reached No. 17 on the . Pop chart and No. 2 on the . The album's second single "Promises in the Dark" reached No. 38 on the . 16 on the . Precious Time was also Benatar's . .

While her debut and its follow-up, Crimes of Passion, both offered up hit singles and decent album material, Precious Time keeps the formula going without any of the songwriting magic of the first two records. The energy and momentum are there for the majority of the album, and even on the ballads Benatar's voice is in fine form. But there's really nothing new that Benatar has to offer (aside from an amusing cover of the Beatles' "Helter Skelter"), unlike her next album, which would see Benatar growing by leaps and bounds into the pop-friendly rock of the '80s
