Led Zeppelin's 1971 Japanese Tour was the first in Japan by the English rock band. Commenced on 23 September and concluding on 29 September 1971, it was one of the first tours of Japan by a western rock band. It was the first time I'd been to such a sort of overpopulated plac. recalled guitarist Jimmy Page of Tokyo, where the tour began. It was a city with such a new vision towards the future. The technology boom was really going on, even then.

I listened to the remastered CD with a good set of headphones and it felt like I was hearing the songs for the very first time. I've always thought previous Zeppelin CDs sounded muddy.

A fantastic soundboard recording, very clear and you can hear the band talk between songs. There are some patches here and there, but nothing that takes away from the songs. Best bootleg I have heard to date

i have a copy with the same run out etchings but disc 2 is a silver label full disclosure. is it just random occurrence or could it be a separate disc to this collection? Disc one is the same as pictured above.

First, a comment that just do not like the whole world.It sounds pretty bad, nothing to do with a soundboard recording. You need to listen this concert with headphones to appreciate it. But but,but, from the beginning to the end .... What an amazing concert! What a performance! They are in top form ,no,better than that...It is probably the best concert I 've ever heard from Led Zeppelin! which it is the same as saying the best live rock concert ever recorded.I'm serious about it.They were amazing!

Some excellent fellow discog-onians here have notified that they have higher numbered copies of the multicolored vinyl, with numbering ranging from 80 to 100. Yet I know a collector (and have seen his copy) who has the off green color, as mine as pictured, numbered at 70. On the multicolored numbered copies I have seen, the numbered label type is larger and on a different part of the back cover. I'm glad someone else has shared a pic of their multicolored to show this. So I am curious how many may have been 100 printed on multicolored ? Would be great for others who may have this rare title to take a peek at what number and type of label they have and chime in. Thanks !

I've compared my copy of this double LP set with what appears in your photo and this is what I notice: The photo of Robert Plant attached to the front cover is identical to yours, as is the album title and track list. The album's outer sleeve is made of heavy paper the color of dark brown . The back of the album cover reads Box Top Records while the labels read "UFO Records". There are etched RSR 209 matrices in the run out. Each black vinyl LP is housed in a plain white inner sleeve. I purchased this album at a record collectors show in the mid-1980s.

There are 3 variations for this limited 510 numbered vinyl pressing original issue by Trade Mark Of Japan in 1988. First 10 pressings numbered 1 through 10 on multicolored wax, second 200 pressings numbered 11-200 on colored vinyl (light off green based), third 300 pressings on black vinyl. Very rare LP.

These LP's are truly beautiful pressings, heavy, deep cut, virgin vinyl pressed out of Japan in 1976. Terrific labels on the LPs as well, each side bearing a different 'symbol' from IV. This is the original second pressing of this title, the first being the 1973 OG-Records red label and black label issues. Problem with the original OG pressings is that they were cut at the wrong speed. This problem was corrected on this original second pressing 3 years later, hence this 1976 pressing plays at the correct speed. Superb performances to hear within this cut as well :-)

Ok let's see, I sold my last copy of this in 1981- by that time I had gone through 6 , yes 6 copies of this show which should have had A much different track listing!! You see I had A GREAT hook-up for Japanese pressed boots through OPEN ROAD MAIL ORDER {Are you still out there ???} & A great guy named Takashi Yoshakawa back in the late '70's=- anyway I had at least one red label w/ the rest being black, BUT,my first copy came w/ A UNIQUE PIECE OF RICE PAPER ON THE BACK W/ the complete song listings in the correct sequence !! I said to my self_what the hell were they thinking ?? "Moby Dick" but no "Dazed" & no"Fortune Teller" or "Good Times" from the W.L.L. medley- hell it should have been a 3 lp set ....at least !!!!
