Alexander Hawkins born 3 May 1981 is a British jazz pianist and composer He leads three main groups the Alexander Hawkins Ensemble the Convergence Quarte. There were few opportunities to play jazz there, so he was restricted to listening and practising.

Alexander is the first solo album by American musician Alex Ebert, lead singer of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros and Ima Robot. It was released on March 1, 2011 under the Community Records label. The song "Truth" was featured in the season 4 premiere of AMC's Breaking Bad titled "Box Cutter". Alex Ebert produced the album during breaks from his work with Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros and Ima Robot. He played all the instruments on the album himself.
