Templo Diez is a six-piece based in The Hague, The Netherlands. With members from France, Italy and The Netherlands, Templo Diez mixes alt-country, slow-core and darker pop influences in an intimate sound that has been compared to many bands including Sparklehorse and The Velvet Underground. They are known for their emotional live performances and have won over audiences in The Netherlands and beyond.

Their new album 'Winterset' will be released on My First Sonny Weissmuller recordings on February 27th. Ranging from minimalistic production to string-based arrangements, often playing with noise and sound manipulation, "Hoboken" has been airplayed in the Netherlands (namely "Club Lek" on 3voor12 and VPRO's de Avonden), Belgium (Studio Brussels, Radio 1's Cucamonga) and on diverse USA and Canadian college radios

Templo Diez was founded in 2002 by songwriter Pascal Hallibert (vocals, guitars, keys), he was joined soon by Leejon Verhaeg (guitars) and Paolo Panza (drums, glockenspiel), who both played with Hallibert in "Miss Wyoming", a band from The Hague. Templo Diez grew quite fast and played numerous gigs in Holland and the USA (including the SXSW-festival in Austin) The release of their first CD "Hoboken" in 2003, well received in both Europe and the USA, showed what the band was capable of with just two guitarists and a drummer. In the summer of 2007 Miranda Visser (violin, vocals) joined Templo Diez as permanent violin-player. As a small teaser for their upcoming album Templo diez recorded on special request of the French label Hinah an EP with 4 songs, all sung by Gloribel, called "Crowheart".
