The late Roy Orbison was undeniably one of the great rock singers-his quavering yet full-bodied voice conveys romantic angst like no other. 20 GOLDEN HITS features the best of Orbison's best-known tunes, plus a few obscure gems.

In Dreams is the fourth LP record by Roy Orbison with Monument Records recorded at the RCA Studio B in Nashville, Tennessee and released in 1963. It is named after the hit 45rpm single "In Dreams. In 2004 Rolling Stone named the title song number 319 on their 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.

Orbison made his first widely distributed recordings for Sun Records in 1956. Roy was a capable rockabilly singer, and had a small national hit with his first Sun single, "Ooby Dooby.
