Karl Jenkins – The journey – The best of Adiemus was released on 1st November 1999. The album is a compilation of ‘the best’ of Jenkins’ Adiemus project. This album is comprised of selected songs from the first three Adiemus albums – Songs of sanctuary, Cantata Mundi and Dances of time, which was all that was released up to the point of this compilation. For a more up to date compilation there is also Jenkins & Adiemus: The Essential Collection, released in 2006. This image and its accompanying music stuck with me for years.
