This one has several premium grade 'A' classics: The Burgundy Runn check in with their two minute breakneck offering 'Stop!'. This track is genius. Best of all is probably Chob (or The Chōb as they were billed on the 45 ) and another breathless and breakneck s of pure inspiration.

Garage rock (sometimes called '60s punk or garage punk) is a raw and energetic style of rock and roll that flourished in the mid-1960s, most notably in the United States and Canada, and has experienced a series of subsequent revivals. The style is characterized by basic chord structures played on electric guitars and other instruments, sometimes distorted through a fuzzbox, as well as often unsophisticated and occasionally aggressive lyrics and delivery.

Talk about Various - New Mexico Punk From The Sixties

Blackbeard
One of the best of the Eva regional US comps of '60s garage punk (compiled in the '80s).This one has several premium grade 'A' classics: The Burgundy Runn check in with their two minute breakneck offering 'Stop!'. This track is genius.Ditto Lincoln St Exit and their riff-to-end-all-riffs 'The Bummer'.... simply sensational.Best of all is probably Chob (or The Chōb as they were billed on the 45 [pronounced 'Choab' I believe]) and another breathless and breakneck two-and-a-bit-minutes of pure inspiration.Add to that Fe-Fi-Four Plus Two and the acid addled 'I Wanna Come Back (From The World Of LSD) "I'm outside the world/ and I can't find a way back inThat cube I took must have cut me a little too thin".... plus The Plague, The Kreeg and Era Of Sound and you have a great, great comp in good quality with only a couple of covers to slightly dilute the very high standard (and even those are pretty good).
