Announced February 26, 2018 through a press release, The Reworks is the first album by Pendulum since Immersion. It was marketed as a project unlike any other released by the band before. Two weeks prior to the album announcement, Pendulum revealed they would be one of the first to perform at Printworks London, a recently launched music venue in the Great Wen, marking their long-awaited return since closing Ultra Music Festival 2016. While some initially believed it to be an album with brand new songs by the group, the tracklist was revealed in March 1st, confirming it as a remix album. It features a diverse and talented range of remixers, from the trio of DnB veterans Noisia to deadmau5’s protégé ATTLAS, effectively accomplishing the band’s promise of being a project unlike any other released by the band.
