OST. Songs in album Krzysztof Komeda - Knife In The Water (Music From The Roman Polanski Film) (1999). 1. Knife In The Water I.

This is the first of six CDs of film music scattered throughout the collection. This first collection contains Komeda's great prize as a film composer, which is the score for Roman Polanski's 1962 classic Nóz W Wodzie, or, in translation, Knife in Water, the second of six films he scored for the director, which also include Rosemary's Baby. Specifically, it's a jazz score, full of improvisation by Komeda's classic quintet featuring Michael Urbaniak on saxophones, Tomasz Stanko on trumpet, Komeda playing piano, Maciej Suzin on bass, and Czeslaw Bartkowski on drums.
