If It Was Easy, his first full-length under the name, is any indication, it seems he's just getting started. The record begins with his 2009 debut single, "Every Little Bit Hurts", which is a fine place to start: With just Davis' voice and guitar (and barely any drums at all), "Every Little Bit Hurts" is as unassuming as it is infectious, burrowing into the brain on the strength of just a few chords. If you thought Ted Leo's mostly-solo Tell Balgeary, Balgury Is Dead EP should have been longer, this is a jam you need to hear. The faster pace of tracks like "Every Little Bit Hurts" or "Steady Love", with their mouthful of syllables and quick phrasing, suit Davis' strengths. While he's a capable vocalist, it would take a voice with a lot of character to really sell tracks like the saccharine commercial jingle-like "Black Bubblegum" or the whisper-level intimacy of "At Fifteen". Davis has crafted a careful and infectious power-pop record on his own that's easy to love (especially for fans of the aforementioned Ted Leo or the New Pornographers).

reminded me a bit of the same cluster of influences that you see in Ted Leo songs-no surprise they would eventually tour together. It Was Easy continues the same pattern of relatively classic-sounding pop tunes while sometimes failing to live up to its potential. As hinted above, not exactly all the songs are new. Firstly, the aforementioned "Every Little Bit Hurts" begins the album on a high note with a booty-shakin', tambourine-hittin' chorus. But what seperates Title Tracks from someone like Ted Leo is simply a matter of freshness. It Was Easy spins like a tribute album more than anything else. That isn't necessarily a bad thing (see: Billy Joel's An Innocent Man), because this just might be the catchiest thing you hear all year.

It Ain't Easy is the fourth album by American rock band Three Dog Night, released in 1970. According to lead singer Chuck Negron's book Three Dog Nightmare, the album's working title was The Wizards of Orange, with a cover featuring the band's members wearing orange make-up and posing in the nude.

Rabbit Don't Come Easy is the tenth studio album by German power metal band Helloween, released in 2003. It is the first Helloween album to feature Sascha Gerstner on guitars, who replaced Roland Grapow. No drummer is listed in the band line-up for this album. Mark Cross was hired for the position before recording, but only managed to complete two tracks ("Don't Stop Being Crazy" and "Listen to The Flies") before being forced to leave due to illness

In the early 2010s, Title Tracks made a couple of excellent modern power pop albums. The first, 2010's It Was Easy, was a studio concoction that featured main Track John Davis doing everything; 2011's In Blank had members of the live band contributing, which resulted in a scruffier, more live-sounding record. Both were jammed with hooky tracks that melded the sugary melodies of power pop with the intensity of classic New Wave and punk. Most of the album is made up of these energetic, jumpy rockers. Songs like "I Don't Need to Know" and "Not Enough Too Soon" jump and twitch like rambunctious, skinny-tied new wave kids at their first high school dance, each with enough power in their taut grooves to keep the party going until way past curfew. Mixed in are some midtempo jangle pop gems (the Dwight Twilley -esque "Don't Start," "Peaceful Uses") and a couple of quiet ballads that show off Davis' skill as a crooner of sad songs

Title Tracks is the American power pop/indie rock solo project from Washington, . based musician John Davis (formerly of Q and Not U and Georgie James). Title Tracks toured with Pretty & Nice and Ted Leo and the Pharmacists. In August 2010, Title Tracks pared its live band down to a trio of Davis, Cotterman and Black After more than five years without a new release, Title Tracks issued its third full-length album, Long Dream, in November 2016. It Was Easy (The Ernest Jenning Record C. Safety Meeting Records, February 2010). In Blank (The Ernest Jenning Record C. Windian Records, April 2011)

Just keep in mind that your album title is your chance to keep control over what it says even if you can’t control what font it shows up in. 4. Find Your Perfect Genres and Subgenres. Digital music distribution services will create ISRCs for you when you build your release. The same recording shouldn’t have 2 ISRC codes just because it was distributed in 2 different ways. If your music already has ISRC codes from a prior release, then the same ISRC code should be on it for all subsequent releases. This could happen if you had a release distributed through a label and your contract expired so you’re releasing the same recordings on your own, or maybe you are switching digital music distribution services and you have to transfer your info.

By the way, I know that it should be If Life Were Easy – it’s a subtle irony. I am most grateful to The Guilty Party, my collaborators, whose patience and alent has graced these humble efforts; Joe Bonadio – musical director, Randall Bramblett, Oz Noy, Nicky Moroch, Joe Mennonna. My guests; Gillian Glover, Dan Cafferty, Pete Agnew, Walther Gallay, Mickey Lee Soule, Sahaj Ticotin, Sim Jones, Don Airey, Eliot Denenberg, Harvey Jones. As one of those literary types, I was a little taken aback by the title, but I’m glad to see that Roger knows about the imperfect subjunctive following an if clause. I thought RG was friends with Ronnie? 1 or 2 tracks by him, and the same for Gillan or DC(Plenty possibilities probably) would have made a big one. And it would not have hurt the integrity of the musical intentions by Roger. I connect here with the discussion about why DP themselves have problems with doing new albums.
