It blags our head that this album is 10 years old, such a big influence on our teenage band life. They have been a favourite and a huge inspiration for many reasons; a band that straddle punk rock, noise rock and indie anthems is something to be in our eyes. Beyond excited, our musical heroes like our band and we get to play with them. Reading & Leeds Festival, we have unfinished business. We’re coming back for even more madness than last time. If one thing is clear from listening to the album, it’s that the pair has mastered the skill of crafting anthemic tracks for instance ‘I’ll Bury You’, which showcases Edwards’ vocal elasticity and ‘Dead to Me’ embroils a venomous chant. Everything Ever’ is an LP crammed with gutsy songs, as well as the instrumentals to match. This is God Damn growing into themselves, their sound and with a UK tour in full swing running into October; it’s only going to get better from here onwards.
