It took the Sundays five years to deliver their third album, Static & Silence. Five years is a long time, especially in the quicksilver world of pop music, but the Sundays sound totally unbothered by their absence on Static & Silence. Instead of sounding labored and forced, the album is gentle and effortless, as if it were recorded five months after Blind instead of five years

Static and silence for the group while watching the landing of Apollo 11 on the moon and static and silence for the listener while the weak melodies come out of the speakers. Or consider a donation? #51.

United is the pressing plant that manufactured these. It was the choice of Fugitive and Universal to use them, probably for price issues - cheaper than getting them pressed at a better plant, like RTI. Capitalism on fine display - maximum profit, at the expense of quality, stretched as far as allowed to go by consumers.

It appears that there will be a 2017 vinyl repressing of this, sold for RSD Black Friday. However, it's by the same label who repressed "Blind" and that pressing had a lot of issues, so buyer be aware.....
doesnt Do You
My RSD Blind sounded excellent! Just got Static and Silence!
