Crowded House is the self-titled debut album by the band Crowded House. It was released in 1986 and produced by Mitchell Froom. The album was the first to feature band-leader Neil Finn following the break-up of his previous group Split Enz. The album includes the hit singles "Don't Dream It's Over", "Something So Strong", "Mean to Me", "World Where You Live" and "Now We're Getting Somewhere", the first four of which were included on the group's first greatest hits album Recurring Dream.

The second post-reunion album from Crowded House - dubbed Intriguer - will be released this June under the band’s new deal with Universal Music, and will be followed by a lengthy, 28-date tour of North America beginning in July. An exact release date has not yet been announced for the 10-track album, which originally had been expected in March. The reunited band - original members Neil Finn and Nick Seymour, plus Mark Hart and Matt Sherrod - recorded the album at Roundhead Studios in Auckland, New Zealand; it’s co-produced by Finn and Jim Scott.
