Inspired by the psychedelia of motherhood, she doubles down on her sharp playfulness. Camille Dalmais doesn’t so much wear her intelligence lightly as fashion it into excellent costumes. The 39-year-old Parisian graduated from the prestigious university that produced a majority of the last eight French presidents, and at least the latter four of her five albums have been both wildly experimental and genuinely entertaining.

Camille Dalmais (born 10 March 1978), better known by her mononym Camille, is a French singer, songwriter and occasional actress. Camille was born and raised in Paris, France. As a teenager, she studied ballet and developed an interest in bossa nova music and American stage musicals. She attended the prestigious Lycée International de Saint Germain-en-Laye, where she obtained her baccalaureate in literature

She is well known for her roles in musicals, including 1789, les amants de la Bastille in the role of Olympe, and La Légende du roi Arthur in the role of Reine Guenièvre. Camille Lou was born 22 May 1992 in Bersillies, near Maubeuge
