Hemispheres is the sixth studio album by the Canadian rock band Rush, released in October 1978 by Anthem Records. After touring to support the band's previous studio release, A Farewell to Kings, which saw the group gain popularity in the UK, Rush started work on its next album. As with the band's previous studio album, Hemispheres was recorded at Rockfield Studios in Wales and Trident Studios in London with longtime engineer and arranger, Terry Brown.

Rush is the debut studio album by Canadian rock band Rush, released on March 1, 1974 by the band's own label Moon Records in Canada and by Mercury Records in the United States and internationally. Their first release shows much of the hard rock sound typical of many of the popular rock bands emerging earlier in the decade. Rush were fans of such bands as Led Zeppelin and Cream, and these influences can be heard in most of the songs on the album.

I love "Before and After" from the album Rush. Best Answer: Hey You!! hows it going? all is good here.

Lifetime Rush fan here. you guys are missing a great album. I love Moving Pictures and Permanent Waves. Signals is a special album. check it out. Chappie. I would say Clockwork Angels is probably my favourite Rush album too, but they have such a varied back catalogue that I'm sure that will change. They were the first band I saw live (back in 1978), and the band I have seen the most. Blackmoreguitar, Nov 1, 2017.

Rush is a retired band. They’ve served old middle aged white guys like me and kept our souls well and along the way, I hope kids and women and people of color have come across it and said, yeah, that’s what it’s about. But if it’s just my fat little fingers typing this as the last remnant of their influence, I’d like to say, Hold Your Fire is what keeps me in love with humanity. 359 Views · View 4 Upvoters. jf LbCobyp Wgjef doVlFUfzf pkYTwsoWDn.

Rush fans have always wondered what are the best Rush albums of all time. Since they were immortalized in the film I Love You, Man, they've enjoyed more success than ever before. They also happen to be one of the greatest hard rock and greatest prog rock bands ever to come out of Canada. Since 1974, the lineup consisted of lead singer Geddy Lee, guitar slinger Alex Lifeson, and drummer Neil Peart. Peart is typically counted among the best rock and roll drummers of all time. If you want to know what is the best Rush album of all time, this list will answer your question. Photo: Peter Zimmerman/Flickr.

What’s The Rush? Lyrics. Tell the world to wait The wait has been so unpredictable I never thought i'd see this day I never thought i'd hear you say Set me off then apologize spewing half truths and spitting out your lies I can't keep living this way I can't keep waiting to say Why can't you give me everything I want. Could it be Could it be Why can't you be the one I need. So tell me what the rush is for Well i won't stop you now But i just need to know whats So damn important that you need to leave Tell me what the rush is for You never stuck around to find out Whats left in this mess for me? Yeah we both knew this could happen We both knew this could happen We lost it, we lost it We both knew this could happen So tell me what the rush is for Well i won't stop you now But i just need to know whats So damn important that you need to leave.

Finding my way is a fast paced opener, and all the other songs are great toe tapping tunes.
