Girlfriend is the third studio album by American alternative rock musician Matthew Sweet. It was released on Zoo Entertainment in 1991. The album was ranked at number 61 on Paste magazine's list of "The 90 Best Albums of the 1990s". Sweet recorded Girlfriend in 1990, following his divorce.
