Bread is the self-titled debut album by soft rock band Bread, released in 1969. Bread peaked at on the Billboard Pop Albums chart. The re-recorded track "It Don't Matter to Me" was issued as a single after the release of Bread's second album, On the Waters, and the success of "Make It with You" in the summer of 1970. It Don't Matter to Me" peaked at and on Billboard's Adult Contemporary and Pop Singles charts, respectively.

Bread takes a break from their soft rock persona and performs their rock hit "Mother Freedom". It was a well balanced concert with great acoustics and the tour was supporting the Reunion album with Lost Without Your Love and Hooked on You as the typical Gates singles. Dean Parks was there "filling in" the sound as Gates referred to the fact that their studio albums had many overdubs that could not be reproduced without another guitarist.
