DJ Bitman (born José Antonio Bravo 1975), also known as Latin Bitman or simply Bitman, is a Chilean electronic music producer, composer and DJ. He is known for his work combining electronic music with funk, hip hop and Latin American rhythms.

The battle to be recognised as the hardest-working man/woman in Chilean electro may be a hotly-contested arena, but it’s fair to say that Latin Bitman is a strong pretender to the throne. The producer and DJ, who has also recorded as RVSP, Ritmo Machine and Bitman & Roban, and provided remixes for the Beastie Boys, Manu Chao, Tom Tom Club, Diplo and others, is back with a new album, which goes by the title of Airplane. Let’s leave it to the man himself to explain the new record: While my music has always been open to different influences, I think this album is more carefree, more groovy. There is a certain amount of experimentation on this record compared to my previous albums, like the Rock Steady on ‘Airplane’ and Andean music on ‘Across the Pampas’.
