Alterbeast certainly seems to be a technical death metal band that’s on the rise. They’ve done quite a bit of touring lately and they also appear to have a solid fan base behind them. Being from Sacramento, Alterbeast is often grouped together with other west coast bands like Arkaik, Inanimate Existence, and The Kennedy Veil. With all of that in mind, I was really excited to see what their second album, Feast, is all about. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed with what I heard. It didn’t take a full minute for the disappointment of this album to hit me square in the face.
