It's unabashed political overtones and purest punk form is so nice to hear in this era of agro metal-rap and neo-70's hippy-groove rock. Its like the same response delivered by the punk bands in '77 against the album rock deluge of the of the '70s. The album, in its simplicity and directness, remains complex lyrically and refined musically. Its just acoustic guitar and drums. But its loud and brash. Its like The Mekons meet Lucinda Williams meet The Clash.
