The reworked tune appears on the band’s upcoming Electric Lady Sessions, a live-in-the-studio project recorded in the legendary New York City studio and due out in late 2018 via Columbia Records/DFA

LCD Soundsystem have released their cover of Heaven 17’s (We Don’t Need This) Fascist Groove Thang. The track is billed as one of their Electric Lady Sessions. This morning, a press release confirmed that LCD have a new live album titled Electric Lady Sessions, recorded at New York’s Electric Lady Studios, which is due out later this year. The band also recorded their recent this site Singles set at the same studio. That release featured a cover of Chic’s classic I Want Your Love. Last year saw the release of American Dream, LCD Soundsystem’s first album in 8 years.
