Anyway, Coffincraft are a band that tends to put a bit more stock into rhythmic variations and dynamics and punchy powerchord riffs rather than slightly heavy metal-tinged tremolo melodies, so I'd say they're definitely more disciples of Nihilist and Entombed than Dismember or Carnage. A few riffs here and there actually do have a bit of doomy rock swagger to them that recalls Wolverine Blues (in a good way!). On par with other high water marks like Repugnant, the first Tribulation album and such? Yeah, I'd probably say it's pretty close. Far more worth your time than whatever dad death metal .
