Skytone are a Canadian duo from Ottawa consisting of brothers Rodney and Darius Doddridge. Their sound is generally considered jangle, indie pop with Rodney and Darius singing and playing all instruments on their albums. Recording and mixing is done at their home studio and albums are produced by Rodney. They released the album "Echoes In All Directions" in 2006. Album tracks "Lindbergh", "The New York Song" and "Just a Little Attention" have proven popular on campus radio charts. They have also appeared on CBC Radio 3. In the spring of 2008, Skytone won the regional final of the Canadian Radio Star National Songwriting Competition for the song "String of Pearls". In late 2008 they began recording a new album, tentatively titled Light and Shade. As of 2009, they are still recording and fine-tuning the sound of the album.
