Duško's brother is well-known athletic trainer Branimir "Brana" Radović. Dušan Radović was born in 1922 in Niš. He is known for his poetry, especially his children's poetry, for his prose and for his aphorisms. He has published many children's books that mark the childhood of numerous generations of not only Serbians, but all Yugoslavians. Radović wrote stories and poems, announcements, lyrics and skits, kitchen proverbs and picture-books, aphorisms and advertisements, synopses for films and celebrations, texts uttered by a registrar at a weddings, etc. He did not, they say, like being called a poet.
