The band is composed of experienced musicians and often collaborates with renowned musicians in the field of Roma music: they made two albums with Šaban Bajramović and two albums with Ljiljana Buttler. Ljiljana frequently toured with the band until her death in 2010.

Sevdah Metal is a music studio album recording by EMIR HOT (Progressive Metal/Progressive Rock) released in 2008 on cd, lp, vinyl and/or cassette. He manage to graduate Berklee musical colage, he sign with major label Lion Music, and aswell release his first solo album under his name in 2008. He got involved in some obscure metal bands from his country in his teens, but this album with the line up showed here make him very dangerous, methaphorical speaking of course.

Emir is a thirty-year old guitarist who was born in Bosnia and Sevdah Metal is essentially his first release to ever hit the presses (they use presses for CDs nowadays right?). His biography pretty much reads like any other guitar hero’s (. interested in guitar since age 5, attended music school, graduated from The Guitar Institute, et. and after reading his biography many people may assume he’s somewhat mainstream. Emir’s approach to neo-classical music includes mixing in touches of traditional Eastern Balkan music with plenty of influences taken from the Sevdah style of Bosnian music, which is akin to a Bosnian form of Blues. He accomplishes this by adding nuances of accordions, orchestration, piano, occasional female vocals, orchestral choir vocals, tempo changes and additional programming.
