Clara Ann Fowler (November 8, 1927 – January 1, 2013), known by her stage name Patti Page, was an American singer of pop and country music. She was the top-charting female vocalist and best-selling female artist of the 1950s, selling over 100 million records during a six-decade long career. She was often introduced as "the Singin' Rage, Miss Patti Page". New York WNEW disc-jockey William B. Williams introduced her as "A Page in my life called Patti".

She's throwing her hands up in frustration, looking around, and telling the audience-which includes the President of the United States-"These people hung me out to dry and I'm super pissed. I'm paraphasing but only slightly). Patti and her melismatic meltdown are the highlight of this video, but you have to give props to the three background singers who have the temerity to show up and sing like nothing happened after being called out for 3 minutes on the National Mall.

Hanging Out. In Love. The Complete US Hits: 1948-62.

Patti Page originally performed this wonderful piece of special material on the 1982 TV special "Here's Television Entertainment". In 1997, as she was preparing her 50th anniversary show, she brought it back as her opening number and performed it at her Grammy-winning Carnegie Hall concert. This is not your cliche CD with the typical songs on it. It shows a side of Patti that some fans may not even be aware of. There are rare color photos and the sound quality is excellent.

Released in 1975 and recorded in the late Jimi Hendrix’s Electric Lady Studio, Smith’s debut is considered by many as the first true punk record released. Combining Rimbuad influenced lyrics and furious garage band rock, Smith opened the door for generations of musicians after her to rebel. Writers Allen Lanier, Chris Kenner, Fats Domino & 7 more.
