Marakesh (Ukrainian: Маракеш) are a rock band from Kiev, Ukraine, formed in 2006. Their music is influenced by 90s alternative rock, combining rock with electronica and charismatic vocals. Marakesh’s song Jdat (Russian: ждать) appeared in the Grand Theft Auto IV video-game soundtrack, resulting in hundreds of thousands official views of its music video on YouTube. The band is currently based in Berlin.

This was a Monday night so, as we were not a dance band, we didn't get to perform on weekends. The song is "Mother's Eyes n. " from the only album ever released by Marikesh- "Love Is What You Want" (1985). Автовоспроизведение Если функция включена, то следующий ролик начнет воспроизводиться автоматически.

Marakesh "Marakesh" (1976). Very much appreciated, this album contains a great and scented progressive rock with a feel of Canterbury sound, Procol Harum and perharps have some hints of Flyte. Hope to see posted other dutch bands, Eternal Rock, Turf and Zoo, never posted on blogs, like Marakesh. Great blog, especially for the post of russian groups, that are very great. The Dog That Bit People. The Old Man & The Sea.

Marakesh are a Berlin based indie rock band, originally from Ukraine. Formed in 2006 and named by Billboard Russia as solid and manifestly eclectic sound, the band soon appeared in the Grand Theft Auto IV soundtrack, reaching over 1,5 million views on YouTube. This led the band to a lot of touring, including open air festivals and a support slot for Placebo.

Marakesh is a music studio album recording by MARAKESH (Crossover Prog/Progressive Rock) released in 1976 on cd, lp, vinyl and/or cassette. Anyway we progressive rock fans feel happy to stumble upon them and their creation full of obvious progressive texture in the same vein of the vanguard in early 70s and pop atmosphere around them in those days.
