Praise brings us to a place of humility. We remember our dependency on God, as we acknowledge our need for Him. As we praise Him as Creator and King of this world, we admit and recognize that we’re not in control, but He is. He is above all. Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. 5. Praise makes room for God’s blessings over our lives. He will not hold back His goodness, praise opens the gateway of blessing as we come into the Presence of our King. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!

the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender, and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, this Island or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our Empire beyond the seas, armed and guarded by the British Fleet, would carry on the struggle, until, in God’s good time, the New World, with. all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old. We also have a transcript of Winston Churchill’s Blood Sweat and Tears speech. Urban myth: Interesting to note that Churchill never said We shall fight them on the beaches  . Just proves that whoever we are and what race we come from we should fight for OUR country and protect it like we protect our family and home! Amy 22 Dec at 3:14 pm. This is always misquoted.
