Kotra is a moniker and main art project of Ukrainian sound-artist and promoter Dmytro Fedorenko from Kyiv, Ukraine. Many years Kotra explores his own and audiences perception limits, how music can affect body and mind at the most extreme points. Besides extreme solo works Kotra explores sound in miscellaneous musical and audio-visual collaborations with such artists as Zavoloka, Abs6, Black Rain, Jeff Surak, Moljebka Pvlse, Akuvido, Tenpoint, Marek Choloniewski, Jonas Grushka, Kim Cascone, Andrey Kiritchenko, Dunaewsky69, Andreas Berthling and many other artists.

Kvitnu run by Dmytro Fedorenko (Kotra). Visual appearances of label are designed by Zavoloka. In 2011 Kvitnu became a winner in three nominations of the Qwartz Electronic Music Awards 7 in Paris - as The Best label, The Best Artist (Sturqen) and Discovery Category (Peste by Sturqen). Also v4. nko was nominated in Discovery category with his work Harmonic Ratio. In 2013 two more Kvitnu releases were nominated by Qwartz Awards 7 in Paris - Filament and Termination Voice. Kvitnu hosted and operated Kvitnu Fest and Detali Zvuku festival.

Kotra is Dmytro Fedorenko, Ukranian hero and prolific producer of own brand of minimisto-agresso electronica. Continues to operate the Kvitnu label, only now doing it from Austria instead of home country I believe. It’s like getting a pack of cigarettes from the future. His Cicada (KVITNU 55) was released in 2017 but might not be brand new music.
