I've passed this way before And I've felt this pain before A hurt that took so long to end Has found my poor heart again. As I watch love walking away It brings back old memories A familiar pain still feels the same Once again heartache has found me. A dark cloud covered my heart Oh, when she told me goodbye Now there's nothing left but emptiness And the tears that fill my crying eyes. I've passed this way before And I've felt this pain before A hurt that took so long to end Has found my poor heart again. No matter how strong a man is Without love he walks in the dark.

In 1967, I’ve Passed This Way Before reached the US Top 20, while Gonna Give Her All The Love I’ve Got went to No 29 (both of these were Top 30 hits in Britain). However, subsequent releases such as Don’t You Miss Me a Little Bit Baby (1967) and I’ll Say Forever My Love (1968) described a downward trajectory. The two brothers then teamed up to make the album I Am My Brother’s Keeper (1970), which enjoyed moderate success and included versions of Stand By Me and He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother. Jimmy, meanwhile, decided to concentrate on the more receptive UK market, and in 1970 he scored Top 10 hits in Britain with Farewell Is a Lonely Sound and It’s Wonderful (to Be Loved By You). Reissues of Brokenhearted and Farewell Is a Lonely Sound in 1974 brought further chart success.

Ruffin would later recall how he initially recorded "a different kind of music", strongly influenced by the smoother pop and R&B of the time, when he first recorded in Detroit for Vega. In 1970 Ruffin recorded an album with his brother Jimmy, I Am My Brother's Keeper, for which they had minor hits with "When My Love Hand (Comes Tumbling Down)" and "Your Love Was Worth Waiting For". While his solo career initially showed promise, Ruffin went into decline, reportedly in part because of his cocaine addiction and the lack of support from Motown.

Working with 90'sflav to create Wish You Still Felt This Way, Sophie Meiers comes out with this track in June 2016, which is a period when she began to grow big on Soundcloud. With his usual Lo-Fi style, 90'sflav sets a calm and soft environment, which Sophie uses to sing with a more intimate approach and to set herself free, letting herself go to giving emotional vocals
