Generation X is the first studio album by English punk rock band Generation X, released 17 March 1978 by Chrysalis Records. It was produced by Martin Rushent. One single, "Ready Steady Go", was issued in February 1978 prior to the album's release which reached in the United Kingdom's Singles Chart.
