Orbit is the first studio album by English musician William Orbit. Orbit spawned two singles, "Feel Like Jumping" and "Love My Way"; the music video for "Feel Like Jumping" was directed by Peter Christopherson.

William Orbit (born on 15 December 1956, as William Mark Wainwright) is a British musician and record producer, best known to the public for producing Madonna's album Ray of Light, which received four Grammy Awards. He has also co-produced several unreleased Madonna songs originally recorded for other albums that were never used. Also, he produced "13" by Blur, and remixed some of the songs on the album.

He has done many soundtracks. Added to these intensely melodic and soothing sound layers is the addictive beat on the dance tracks, and the outer space quality progressive creative electronica of the other tracks. Strange Cargo2 was released in 1990 and anyone who knows their shamrocks from their doves will know acid house was dead and buried by the time D-mob's We Call it Acieed hit in 1988. This is a fantastic album, all William's solo albums are, and to say this album is 10 years old it sounds as current as anything out there today and has none of those dated DX7 sounds of a Miami vice track
