Tango is an urban and rural mix, which basis can be found into Arolas, Bardi, Cobián work. ater, Julio and Francisco De Caro were the apogee of an era. What I did, is to pursuit the same path without forgetting the roots, because tango needs continuity. Osvaldo PUGLIESE (02/12/1905 - 25/07/1995) - Pianist, conductor, and composer (~450 recordings). 1905 - Osvaldo Pugliese birth 1929 - Vardaro-Pugliese 1939 - Osvaldo Pugliese orchestra 1942 - Pugliese at Radio El Mundo 1943 - Finally the first disks 1945 - Alberto Moran Others singers Analysis of Osvaldo Pugliese style The rubato The arrastre How to identify Pugliese at the milonga. 1905 - Osvaldo Pugliese birth. His two oldest browsers played the violin, his father the flute, but Osvaldo Pedro Pugliese loves piano.

Osvaldo Pugliese is regarded as the pioneer of syncopation and counterpoint, and of having magnificent interpretative musical skills. His is the choice of music as the evening darkens, when the dancers wish for slowness and intimacy. Osvaldo Pugliese is born in 1905 within the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Villa Crespo to parents Aurelia Terragno and Adolfo Pugliese, an Italian immigrant family. His full birth-name is Osvaldo Pedro Pugliese. Aged 15 Pugliese forms a trio with the bandoneonist Domingo Faillac and the violinist Alfredo Ferrito, and debuts professionally at the local cafe with the nickname Café de La Chancha (the "Filthy Cafe"). In fact, La Chancha was the nickname of a fat guitar player who used to drink at a bar near by - he was stabbed to death one day during Carnaval, and the cafe was named after him. Coming of Age.

Later, Pugliese in association with another violinist, Alfredo Gobbi, formed a group where one of the bandoneon players was the very young Aníbal Troilo. That venture lasted a few months and after that he formed his own team thanks to an opportunity to play in a couple of locals. Afterwards he took part in two duets, firstly with Gobbi and later with Vardaro, to perform on radio broadcasts. Osvaldo Ruggiero, a bandoneonist who remained with Pugliese until 1968, deeply immersed in the leader's ideas, was essential. So can be said of the violinist Enrique Camerano, born –as someone said- to play with Pugliese. Pugliese was becoming the most faithful example of the De Caro style, but with a strong rhythmic beat, very appealing to the dancers but without sacrificing quality. Orquesta Osvaldo Pugliese.
