Procol Harum has been more fortunate in that regard. There was Repertoire (a German label if I recall) in 2001 and Salvo in 2009. Salvo also released a 4 disk boxed set, sadly out of print now so far as I am aware. Lengths of ripped tracks are slightly longer for this set in most cases so clearly there has been some new conversion work. I could argue with some selections, of course but I can never resist. The three DVDs and the two live CDs are the main attraction. The book is very nice as well.

Grand Hotel is the sixth studio album by Procol Harum. Released in 1973, it signalled a change of direction for the band. Guitarist Dave Ball who had joined the band for their live album the previous year left shortly after the photo shoot for the proposed album's cover to be replaced by Mick Grabham. Grabham's head was superimposed on the front and back cover of the album on Ball's body.

On the plus side, although there have been no shortage of Procol Harum compilations, ranging from early best-of LPs on Fly and A&M to various double-disc sets, which seemingly culminated in 1997 with Westside Records' 30th anniversary triple-CD anthology, this release is the first to encompass the complete history of the group across four decades.

In March, Esoteric Recordings are to issue Still There’ll Be More a 50th anniversary, eight-disc Procol Harum box set that features studio recordings from every album, unreleased live material and over three hours of video content, largely TV appearances (some never broadcast). This set contains five CDs and three DVDs.
