The No Nukes film was also released in May 1980 from this event, although it contained somewhat varying contents from this album. Dependin' on You" (Patrick Simmons, Michael McDonald) – The Doobie Brothers – 4:44.

The resulting album, No Nukes, was a phenomenal success, selling over a million copies. The shows were immortalized in a feature film and on this 2 CD set. Among those featured on the album are such '70s soft-rock icons as Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, James Taylor, Carly Simon, the Doobie Brothers, and Crosby, Stills and Nash, along with Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, Ry Cooder, and Gil Scott-Heron for a token dose of grit. Inevitably, Springsteen's "Devil with the Blue Dress Medley" steals the show, but otherwise No Nukes doubles as both a handy '70s-rock sampler and a historical keepsake.
