HOT VULTURES, Ian Anderson & Maggie Holland. Not Hot Vultures 2016, but 1976! This just turned up out of the blue from Danny Adams - probably taken whilst guesting on the recording of Derroll's album "Along The Way" in Brussels. Ian Anderson updated his cover photo.

Throughout most of the 1970s, Hot Vultures – Ian Anderson (guitar, slide guitar, vocal) & Maggie Holland (bass guitar, banjo, guitar, vocal) – were one of the hardest working duos on the UK and European folk circuits with their uniquely English approach to blues, old-time country, traditional and modern songs. In 1980 they were invited to the States by Al Stewart, not long before their third and final album was released in the USA (a rare occurrence for English folk artists of the day). Soon after this they would become part of the English Country Blues Band and later Tiger Moth.
