Mr. 76ix - Hits Of 76ix flac album

CLASSIC lp for the ages! Buy this on vinyl! The crispy warm tone is meant to be heard on vinyl. This album proves that vinyl is the place is where the artist meets the listener and there is a realization that vinyl is medium and practice in which to consume this fine product.

After reanalyzing Mr. 76ix I began to appreciate him for what he is and not for what everyone else thinks he is. Imagine listening to Aphex Twin’s earlier catalogue with the BPM turn to the maximum, and you get Hits Of 76ix. But amazingly the melody is still intact. Some of the most fast pace music I’ve heard in a long time, sometimes so fast that there is almost no way of knowing what direction it going or will go. Not for the faint of heart either, it has all the necessary clicks, high pitch noises, bass and erratic drum patterns for all those Breakcore and Drum N’ Bass fans out there. This is the first album I’ve had to take a headphone break from because my ears were in such pain. SKAM pulls another card from their sleeve, and they have me waiting for the second installment of Hits Of 76ix.

SKAM’s alleged new Secret Weapon Mr. 76ix, is he all he’s cracked up to be? Well, no. From all the accounts at last years ATP, Mr. 76ix rocked the house and awed audiences. So what happened to Hits Of 76ix? It sounds like it was pulled from some dusty Planet Mu archive Mike Paradinas has been sitting on for a long while and was ready to get rid of. Heavily influenced by the Drill n Bass movement Hits Of 76ix sounds like what Jega may have if he would have stuck around on SKAM for a little bit longer. Which could be a bad thing or a good thing. I’m not trying to slander a new artist. The album has its good parts but lacks a soft spot throughout.
