Hold Your Fire is the twelfth studio album by Canadian rock band Rush, released on September 8, 1987. It was recorded at The Manor Studio in Oxfordshire, Ridge Farm Studio in Surrey, Air Studios in Montserrat and McClear Place in Toronto. Hold Your Fire was the last Rush studio album released outside Canada by PolyGram/Mercury. Rush continued to explore new songwriting territory in Hold Your Fire

А самое-то смешное в этой глупой ситуации, что вся шумиха буквально из-за ничего, стоит только повнимательней присмотреться к этому объекту разногласий. В целом - самый обычный альбом Rush, самый обычный набор песен в стиле прогрессив рока.
Hold Your Fire (Cass, Album, RE, Dol). Anthem Records Inc. ANC-1051. Nothing new to the music scene, but something new for Rush - mediocrity. While lyrically the release is somewhat engaging, I can't help but think of another dive into to 80's big rock boredom taken by Yes the same year, with their disaster of a release "Big Generator". In fact, if you want to make your kids giggle about two completely dated, stereotypical 80's records, play "Hold Your Fire" and "Big Generator" back to back. Hold Your Fire is not what most fans would consider classic Rush. However, it is a brilliant album, and perhaps their best. It meshes the rough, heavy sound of "old school" Rush with the advanced technical and melodic ability they displayed in the 80's. The production is near perfect, indeed, Rush had never (and since have not) sounded better.

Hold Your Fire (FireHouse album). Hold Your Fire is the second studio album of the hard rock band FireHouse. It was released in June 1992. The album spent thirty weeks in the Billboard 200 Top Albums chart peaking at 23. The album spawned several hit singles like "Reach for the Sky", "Sleeping With You" and another signature love ballad in the form of "When I Look Into Your Eyes". The album was certified Gold by the RIAA in the United States.
