James and Anne were selected to record a track for a compilation album called Classical Ukulele for release in Japan. If it weren’t for that recording project, confides Anne, I don’t think we ever would have started playing together. It just wouldn’t have occurred to us. Often the most obvious thing is the thing that’s most easily overlooked. We chose Schubert’s Ave Maria and arranged it for ukulele and cello. We recorded it in a tiny practise cubicle at the university! The result? Absolutely brilliant (The Folk Diary). Since True Love Don’t Weep, James and Anne have each released two solo albums each (James’ Man with a Love Song and The Old Silo; Anne’s Beauty Remains and So Long at the Fair) and toured in over 15 countries, making their mark not only as accomplished instrumentalists but also as some of the finest songwriters of their generation.

So Long, Marianne is a compilation album by Leonard Cohen, issued in 1989 and in 1995. It features songs from his first four albums, already covered by his 1975 best of album.

She Moved Through the Fair" (or "She Moves Through the Fair") is a traditional Irish folk song, which exists in a number of versions and has been recorded many times. The narrator sees his lover move away from him through the fair, after telling him that since her family will approve, "it will not be long, love, till our wedding day"

A 19 years young Anne Briggs sang She Moves Through the Fair at the Edinburgh Festival in 1963 where it was recorded by Bill Leader for the album Edinburgh Folk Festival Vol. 1. This track was later included in her compilation CD A Collection and on the Topic 4 CD anthology The Acoustic Folk Box. Davy Graham played She Moves Through the Fair in 1963 too on the EP The Thamesiders and Davy Graham Alex Campbell sang She Moved Through the Fair on his 2005 Castle Music anthology Been on the Road so Long. I don't know from which of his recordings this track had been included. Jim Causley performed She Moved Through the Fair and Germany Clockmaker in 2011 on his WildGoose CD of Devon songs, Dumnonia.

The album earned Monáe a Grammy nomination for the song Many Moons. She would go on to collect five more nominations across two more albums, both of which starred her alter-ego, Mayweather. For years, Monáe remained safely cocooned within the character. After high school, she moved to New York to study musical theater at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. They each took a shift sleeping while the other was at work or school and saw each other on the weekends. Her congregation supplied some funds, and Monáe did some work as a maid to make ends meet.

Produced by Nate Rocket Wonder. Album Dirty Computer. All the kids run around playing free and fun, while the dogs lap around the can Falling down, climbing trees, swimming in the river, no life jacket on their backs Daughters sharpen their knives and they hunt for food, others watch their children grow Mothers going to work and they shake the hands of a corporate tycoon's ghost  . The thirteenth track on Dirty Computer, So Afraid is one of the more vulnerable songs on the album. The chorus’s raw proclamation of Monáe’s anxieties over love potentially represent the bugs and viruses that, by social standards, make us defunct. But this doesn’t necessarily have to be a bad thing
