Kinski was the opening act during the spring 2007 leg of Tool's 10,000 Days tour. Just before leaving for this tour, they finished their seventh album, Down Below It's Chaos which was released on August 21, 2007. Sandrider + Kinski Split EP - Released February 17, 2015 on Good to Die Records.

While the band still played sporadically and released one-off collaborative recordings, five years passed between that album and sixth full-length Cosy Moments. The most immediately noticeable difference here is the presence of bandleader Chris Martin's vocals

Cosy Moments, the group's sixth full length, is filled with Kinski's dense, intricate and occasionally nearly deafening noise, a musical style that is almost completely contradictory to their album title. Audio CD (April 2, 2013).
