The Scientist Lyrics. Come up to meet you, tell you I'm sorry You don't know how lovely you are I had to find you, tell you I need you Tell you I set you apart Tell me your secrets, and ask me your questions Oh, let's go back to the start Running in circles, coming up tails Heads on a science. Nobody said it was easy It's such a shame for us to part Nobody said it was easy No one ever said it would be this hard Oh, take me back to the start.

You see in when there were no clocks people usually used the sun rays as the source of telling morning, noon or night. But a great example of the best watch ever made before the watch is made would definitely go to stone hedge (sorry about the spelling if any). Its wonderful to know that greeks and romans were so intelligent of that time of thinking about such ideas.

The lights go out and I can't be saved Tides that I tried to swim against Have brought me down upon my knees Oh I beg, I beg and plead, singing. Come out of things unsaid Shoot an apple off my head and a Trouble that can't be named A tiger's waiting to be tamed, singing. Since this song was written when the album was almost ready, the band put it aside for the next album, but Phil Harvey, the band's manager and a friend of Chris Martin, pointed out that the song speaks of urgency, which contradicted the idea of shelving the track. So, the other band members added their thoughts to Martin's work along with bass and drums, and the song was recorded very quickly. The line "Shoot an apple off my head" is a reference to the myth of William Tell, the archer, who proved his skills by shooting an apple off his son's head.
