Jake Simpkins, Invert The Idols flac album

Invert the Idols is a deathcore band from Albany. They were formed in 2013, and are signed on with guitarist James Gillham's label Black Earth Records. In 2015, only a few months following the release of their sophomore album Condemnation, vocalist Cat Neely made the decision to part ways with Invert the Idols in light of his moving to Atlanta.

Born in the cultural wasteland of Albany, GA, Invert the Idols put the 'brutal' in 'brutality'. Made up of vocalist Allen Hall, guitarists TC Clifton, James. Made up of vocalist Allen Hall, guitarists TC Clifton, James Gillham, and Robert "Weez" Weaver, and drummer Jake Simpkins, Invert the Idols comes together under a slew of musical influences to bring metal back to the Albany area. This performance was taken from their CD release party at The Oglethorpe Lounge in Albany, GA (February 8th, 2014).

Invert the Idols disbanded in 2015 after vocalist John "Cat" Neely moved from Albany to Atlanta and the band could not find a suitable replacement. They formed, briefly, the deathcore band Diseaser, featuring vocalist Will Southers from January to April 2016. Waylon Bowling joined them in May 2016. In late June, the band made the decision to return to Invert the Idols rather than continue to play.
