L'Inverno della Civetta (The Owl's Winter) is the name of a local underground music project from Genova, Italy, and neighbouring lands. It was born within the Greenfog Recording Studio (founded ten years ago by members of the Genoese alternative rock band Meganoidi) in cooperation with two Ligurian independent labels very careful about the local underground music scene: DreaminGorilla Records, active in the Savona area since 2010 with concerts and record releases, and Taxi Driver Records, born in Genoa in 2009 as a natural extension. The "Greenfog sessions" come from an idea by Mattia Cominotto: extemporary and unreleased lineups with guitars, bass, drums and more played by members of many bands, with the goal of creating new connections and proudly showing people how cool and tough is the current underground music scene throughout Liguria.
