Their debut album "Advance" exposed a further field of interest, with downtempo experiments logged as a series of 'breaks' on the majority of their early EP's extended to some superb deep house, this breadth taken a step further with their Skindeep imprint which has forged broken beat to considerable acclaim. Their pioneering of a revival in old-school sounds and arrangements, together with labels Digital UK and Reinforced Records, dominated drum & bass throughout 2001 and beyond

Talk about Various - Total Science 3

I have to agree with the commentor below - the Moriesh tune really is a gem.

First time review, so please don't be too harsh lol!Well, I say review, it's more just a comment that I feel has to be said.Basically, I searched to find this double album on CD as I like to have most of my old jungle and drum n bass as digi files, rather than wax - with some exceptions, of course! The track I desperately needed from this was Bill Riley's 'In At The Deep End', however, once the CD was in my possession, I started listening to the other tracks, not expecting much...But OH MY DAZE, nearly every track is GOLD! If you like 'intelligent', or 'jazzy' dnb, that is. If you're a fan of Bukem, Krust, Alex Reece etc, you gotta get this. There's loads of great tracks I'd like to go into, but I'm just gonna highlight two in particular:Rogue Unit's 'Memphis Bliss' is a beautiful, very jazz influenced roller, with super deep and minimal production that just lets everything flow...But the real standout for me is 'Lessons' by unknown producer Moriesh, and featuring Robbie Craig on vocals. Now this, this is incredible. It's like a tech stepper soul tune from the future. Seriously, I still can't believe that not only Moriesh only released this one track, but that it was made in 1997!!!Anyway, I'm rambling, but if anyone has any more info on this Moriesh guy, please please please let me know! He MUST have put out a few more tune... too much talent NOT to have...

The Moriesh track is credited wrong. I think it's on this 12", but the booklet says remixed and reproduced by A. White: https://www.discogs.com/NCA-Presents-Robbie-Craig-Vol-2-Lessons/master/5785
