16 Biggest Hits is a 1998 Merle Haggard compilation album. It is part of a series of similar 16 Biggest Hits albums released by Legacy Recordings. All songs except "Big City", "Are the Good Times Really Over (I Wish a Buck Was Still Silver)" and "Going Where the Lonely Go" are re-recordings from October 1994. Merle Ronald Haggard (April 6, 1937 – April 6, 2016) was an American country singer, songwriter, guitarist, and fiddler. Haggard was born in Oildale, California, during the Great Depression. His childhood was troubled after the death of his father, and he was incarcerated several times in his youth.

That's the Way Love Goes is the 38th studio album by American country singer Merle Haggard backed by The Strangers, released in 1983.
