The album was Robi’s second Full featured Album as Headman and it featured many Artists like Stephen Dewaele from Souldwax/2many Djs, Anthony from Radio 4, Mattie Safer from The Rapture and Tara from It Rough fame and many others. Remixes are by Trevor Jackson’s Playgroup and Mustapha 3000 (Erol Alkan). The Album contains 11 tracks with influences from new wave, post punk, early house and electronica. Freedom Drums was another Headman Instrumental. Matties Safer from The Rapture contributed on Balearica and next up is Upstart.

Headman’s second album, On, comes across much stronger than his debut. For one thing, he has a more definite point-of-view here that helps bind together the tracks. The 80s-electro throwback might be somewhat of a cliché now ("So Disgraceful" attests to this), but Headman still breathes some life into it. The rock howling on Suspect! or the stealthy darkwave of Roh shows there’s a single side to the decade. The rockabilly drive of Moisture fits with the raunchy lyrics perfectly, while the new wave stylings of "Freedom Drums" captures the post-disco mood to a tee.

Headman - Catch Me Headman rode the crest of the punk funk wave back in the early ‘00s with releases like So Then! which married cowbells, live drums, electronic instruments and rock and roll sensibilities. Since then Robi Insinna has released two albums and Catch Me is his third. It's being touted as his most mature work yet, which is ironic because these twelve songs are crippled by the lack of any real progression from the same sound. Ploughing through the album you'll find yourself thinking that the tracks sound like somebody else, only not as good. Song 8' is a bit like LFO's 'Freak' with all the alluring freakery ironed out and 'Brave' resembles a duller, more spaced out Chemical Brothers.

Talk about Headman - On

Amis
Headman’s second album, _On_, comes across much stronger than his debut. For one thing, he has a more definite point-of-view here that helps bind together the tracks. The 80s-electro throwback might be somewhat of a cliché now ("So Disgraceful" attests to this), but Headman still breathes some life into it. The rock howling on “Suspect!” or the stealthy darkwave of “Roh” shows there’s a single side to the decade. The rockabilly drive of “Moisture” fits with the raunchy lyrics perfectly, while the new wave stylings of "Freedom Drums" captures the post-disco mood to a tee. Headman blends 80s dance with a rock bass in an intriguing way -- "Upstart" and "Everybody" groove along pleasantly, the latter with a tongue-in-cheek self-reference. Quite nifty.
