Blossoms are an English indie pop band from Stockport, Cheshire. They were on the BBC's Sound Of new music list for 2016 where they finished in fourth place.

This is the only album ever released by The Blossoms (Darlene Love, Fanita James and Jean King). The Blossoms started recording in the 1950's and kept going until the 1970's (I guess). What is remarkable is the fact that the girls never had a major hit record ascribed to them, although they sang background on many hits of the day and often sang under various pseudonyms  . The album generated no hits, although it easily could have done so, especially the title track "Shockwave". As I said, It's a rarity. Grab one while you can.
