Clower's first comedy album, Jerry Clower From Yazoo City (Mississippi Talkin'), was released in 1971. It wasn't distributed nationally at first, but it became a word-of-mouth hit, and eventually climbed into the Top 20 of the country album chart. A string of hit albums followed, most notably Clower Power (1973, a Top Ten hit), Country Ham (1974), Live in Picayune (1975, also a Top Ten seller), and The Ambassador of Goodwill (1976)

Howard Gerald "Jerry" Clower (September 28, 1926 – August 24, 1998) was an American stand-up comedian. Born and raised in the Southern United States, Clower was best known for his stories of the rural South and was given the nickname "The Mouth of Mississippi". Clower was born in Liberty, Mississippi, and began a two-year stint in the Navy immediately after graduating from high school in 1944.

Jerry Lee's Greatest! is the second studio album by the American rock and roll and rockabilly pioneer Jerry Lee Lewis released in 1961 on Sun Records (SLP 1265). Although Lewis recorded with Sun Records from 1956 to 1963 - far longer than Elvis Presley or Johnny Cash - only two LPs were ever issued on Sun under Jerry Lee's name, the second being Jerry Lee's Greatest in 1961.
