Greatest Hits is a compilation album by the American hard rock band Guns N' Roses, released on March 23, 2004. Released by Geffen Records in part because of the delay in the making of Chinese Democracy, the album was subject to lawsuits by band member Axl Rose and former band members, in an attempt to block its release due to its track listing.

Tracks from the former were recorded during the Use Your Illusion sessions and originally featured by-then-departed Izzy Stradlin. Replacement Gilby Clarke ended up recording over his parts before The Spaghetti Incident? was released. Meanwhile, Chinese Democracy featured a shifting array of contributors as Duff McKagan, Slash and others split with Axl Rose. The best Illusion record! My favourite from Guns N' Roses but prefer IZZY STRADLIN & THE JU JU HOUNDS. Appetite is always gonna b number one but this comes right after! this should be number two with great songs like back off bitch, november rain, perfect crime, and coma! Pretty much every song on this album is awesome! IT kicks ass, and had so many possible singles. If use your illusion one had been released as two separate albums, they would have scored twice the chart success. I own this in 5 different formats.
